Dear students,
School ended two days ago, and I am still mourning the fact that my time with you all is over. My heart is broken and I already miss you. I still remember the silly jokes that both Bens, Robbin, and Aaden told. I still remember the silly cowgirl rodeo dance that Paula did during classroom meetings and the cool Russian dance Aaden did. I even remembered our Tootsie Roll dance battle and Fortnite Dance challenges! I remember the conversations about life that we had with one another. I remember the field trips we went together. I remember the tears that we shared. I remember the awesome parties/carnival we had. I remember the letters you all wrote about my class. I remember how hard we worked and how successful we became. I am so proud of you all. Don't forget about me. I won't forget about you. Today as I was going into a restaurant, I saw a young man with his little cousin walking into the parking lot. He yells out, "Hi Mrs Lee!" I looked at him and oh my goodness, it was one of my students from 4 years ago!!!!! I still remembered his name, Undra! He's already going to high school next year. Those are little surprises I get for being a teacher, seeing you guys maturing and grown up, making good choices in life. I hope you guys surprise me one day. See you guys sometime in the future..... BTW, i added some carnival pictures on May 17th. Dear parents, it was a true honor to be your child's teacher this year. I have come to love your child as my own and now that school has ended, I found it extremely hard this morning in knowing that I will never see them again. If your child didn't tell you, i am relocating to another school and will not return. I want to wish your child the very best in all they do and hope you all have a safe and wonderful summer. Please have them go towww.leewizards.weebly.com to view new videos and pictures of the memories we shared this year as a class family. And lastly, please encourage them to read the book i gave them and to go on my website to practice reading and math. If they would like to communicate with me, they can do so on Class Dojo or email me at [email protected]
Thank you 💗
WOOOWWW!! WHAT A DAY! It was such a blast for the kiddos and I! Everyone was wet and having a great time under the sun! This day will truly be a treasured memory!
If you didn't get a chance to see, presented in this video are the awesome talents here at our school!!!!!!! WOW!!!
Today we worked in groups to determine the fate of our friend, Fred the Worm. He's not a good swimmer and for some strange reason, his boat capsized and the life jacket is stuck under! Students had to figure out how to get the life jacket from down under and make sure Fred didn't drown! Hard work!!!!!!! Congratulations to CLASS OF 2019!!!!! Today we took some time out of our day to watch our FHS region seniors walk our school! We worked hard on the posters and brought them out to show our support for these graduates! We're so proud of them! One day, we'll be in their shoes too!!!!!
Another year to play along with our very own Fresno's Philharmonic Orchestra! The students were so excited to even be in a theatre. Many of their comments include "I've never seen anything like it!" or "I really like their performances!" and "I thought the lady was an awesome singer!" or "Most of those musician players looked old!!!!" :)
WOW! Today was fun! We had games going on such as "Put the Face Back on the Clown", "Bean Bag Toss", "Balloon Volleyball", "Balloon Race", etc. We also had hotdogs, shaved ice, cookies, and cheeseballs! All of this was part of a celebration for studying really hard for the SBAC test!!! Congratulations! Hard work pays off!!!!
As part of FUSD's College and Career Readiness, our 4th graders went on a field trip to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo to learn about the different careers available working with and caring for animals. They kids had such a huge blast! Some of them haven't been to the zoo since they were little! |
