Bittersweet memories!! My students left my class learning more about eating healthy and making smart balanced choices with their food. Not much complaints, they looked pretty happy to me! Strawberries and yogurt went out quick. The edamame was their least favorite! Love all of you! Wishing you a great year in 5th grade!
What great singers! Better join CHOIR next year!!!!
After learning about health and nutrition and the effects food had on our bodies, students were able to show their understanding of what a balanced meal looks like along with how it goes through our bodies and how the nutrients get extracted into our system. Great job, kiddos! I want to thank all the parents who were able to come out and see the wonderful things our Lee Wizards have been doing in 4th grade! For those of you who were not able to see it, here are a couple of pictures to show our awesome work!
- Biography cubes - (Inspiration in a Box) were a sweet success! The cubes included an essay about how their person persevered and considered as a hero. It also displayed a half-symmetrical hand drawn picture of their person! The results were seriously cool! - Memorial Day hearts - students wrote heart-felt messages for our brave military serviceman on heart-shaped flags. - Symmetrical Monsters - students wrote their name in cursive on both sides of a paper and created monsters out of them! So creative! - Geometry City Designs - Math is all around us! Students drew out their designs using geometric shapes and described using math vocabulary their awesome towns! Other awesome work: Multiplication Math Facts Tessellations, Gold Rush comic strips, Technology Word Clouds, Nutrition Posters! |
