Wow. I am in shock! My students did me proud! They've worked so hard on this project where each student was assigned to a Native American tribe. They researched different sources, met and collaborated with their groups, wrote and typed up an essay on the environment, shelter, food, and clothing of their tribe. All their hard work will pay off in two weeks when we go off to Monterey Bay Aquarium and San Juan Bautista Mission! Congratulations to my hardworking 4th graders who made it to this incentive event! They worked hard and showed perseverance and good citizenship all 1st Quarter!!!
I hope all of my contestants win! Look at their cute designs! Representing Lee Wizards! Attendance matters!
I AM GOING TO MISS ALL OF YOU SILLIES!!!! It's been such a great and productive year! After learning how our body works, we decided to trace our friends and label the human digestive system. This is part of the healthy foods and nutrition unit we learned close to the end of the year. What an opportunity to be playing music along with a professional orchestra. A mighty good one too! Today we started our little experiment with our strawberry plants. 5 plants received direct sunlight and water while the other 5 plants were stored inside a dark cabinet without water. Students observed and recorded their data, then analyzed the results to conclude the importance of these components in any environment. |
